Its funny how people say that Light Skinned Abgaals aren't pure abgaal. But when they see dark skinned Abgaals the reaction is completely different. Greenday, the notion Hawiye is darker than Somalis has today with the civil war slogan "Hawiye futa madoobe". Somali maryoolay share color and midab. The only people who are lighter are the Swahili remnants in the Banadir and the consistently dark are the Bantu. Everyone else who is ethnic Somali has an individual variation that has nothing to do with clan.
