Its funny how people say that Light Skinned Abgaals aren't pure abgaal. But when they see dark skinned Abgaals the reaction is completely different. Abgaals are people of color there are those who have light skin and those who have dark skin like any other Somali clan. Its amazing how sometimes people can be ignorant when least expect of them.

Actually Abgaal are known for being good neighbours. Lakin I think it was when the war happened that the Darood kids were told all this stuff to create a "bad image" to match the "bad guys"

What were you told about HG marka?
This is more than true. I have never seen people more hospitable. I've neighbored them twice once back home and the other in here.

Skin color knows no qabiil.

Dooros are very insecure people.
Once I asked this marexaar why he married cadaan, he said:
The sun of Galgaduud burned me almost, people think iam from Zambia. I married cadaan female so my children could claim to be of arab anchestry and people might believe them.

Iam proud to be black, even though iam of brownish colour. Its the same.

Even fuddoole and ayaan hersi ali who are darker than my ball's hair say they are arab descendants.
War dadkani waa doqomo.

The problem is that most of those people have lived under shell their entire lives. When they experience life outside of their shells for the first its impossible to change their ignorant believes. Like they say you can't teach an old dog new tricks. Only the people of Mugadishu know about diversity.

Greenday, the notion Hawiye is darker than Somalis has today with the civil war slogan "Hawiye futa madoobe". Somali maryoolay share color and midab. The only people who are lighter are the Swahili remnants in the Banadir and the consistently dark are the Bantu. Everyone else who is ethnic Somali has an individual variation that has nothing to do with clan.

I think that was PO's point, you misunderstand his first post.
