Found out how the qaloon was done, its not by dambas its by sand, you put the seeds in hot sand and it pops! and a xaarin is used, i dont know if you know what it is :lol: as a sieve :up:

Yea its sand, I don't know how it happens but there is no sand in the end product.

Cooked using sand?

Interesting,i know what xaarin is,but is that enough to take out the sand totally from the qaloon?

I have heard of reer baadiye cooking meat by cooking it in the ground.Apparently,

Qaloon aas daango? In sand? Never heard of that before!

I saw loos/lows (peanuts) markuu qolofta wato oo ciid kulul lagu dubo but not daango.

They would put charcoal into the sand,add the meat and cover it with more hot dambas.
