Red Sea is another Somali restaurant? Walee dadkaan isku deysi badanaa

The one I'm talking about has a boy's name, I think it's Arabic.

Fulham and Hammersmith, same thing right. Besides you get off at Hammersmith station when you want to go to Village. Now I am craving avocado chicken salad with that sauce, that sauce is incredible

Yeah its in a corner, with goldish/brownish handwriting. I've never been in there, does it have a female section I'm not going to eat in front of all those guys. :-|

That's the one. They do have a section at the back but I'm not sure if it's for women. Dude no Somali restaurant has a women's section, just sit somewhere and do you.

BV, Blue ocean the downstairs is perfect for females, and they also have corners, I like that about it.

Abaayo do you and do me meeshan majirto, I can't eat in a restaurant full of Somali guys.

I also would say to you both don't do that.

No, I just remember him saying I shouldn't and females shouldn't in general. I once went out to the village with family, including males. In general I don't like eating in front of a room full of Somalis and Arabs, xooga maxaa ka fiicaan Asians. They look waaay too much. I like restaurants to be sparsely populated or to be populated by non-perverted cadaans, the english being a best example.

VeiledGarbisaar; hayaay, ma waxaa ku qabo gardhuub inadeerey? I think there is nothing wrong with eating together with men. I am tired of this sickos who see sex/nudity even in food consumption.  I had a wonderful dinner tonight with men and women and as far as I know there wasn't any vice

Blackvelvet,
I was at the one in Hammersmith and I wasn't impressed. Do you wonder why somali dishes are just too much? I was at the Blue ocean at 11pm and was served by this wonderful waitress; but the food was nothing compared to what I usually eat; chinese, Italian and french cuisine. I was satisified when I saw the size of the dish

Actually, there was a little restaurant in Harlesden which had good food but the problem here (just like the one in Streathman) is the hygiene; too many napkins on the floor and the sight of the poor sambusas almost crying for help is not appealing.

Somalis like benchmarking their businesses to what is on the market. There are no nische stratgies. If you visit Southall and other somali owned businesses they all sale the same. What they need is a basic course in entrepreneurship.

Tonight we were served fried duck and alot of exotic drinks not to mention the exotic dance.

There is no sexuality in food consumption, but where they are coming from is that it is not 'proper' or 'ladylike' Lol I do eat in front of men, I just don't like it when there are too many or too much. I don't feel comfortable.

You need to go to a food eating therapy    There is nothing called ladylike; enjoy the fruits of secularism and gender equality

I'm really conflicted with this.

On the one hand, as much as I'd like to feel offended and lash out, I'd have to say I agree. I personally feel less comfortable around Muslim women than I do non-Muslim women, eating or not. Usually, I feign ignorance of my surrounding. Not caring, or at least pretending not to, seems to do the trick.

On the other... well, you just said I'm a pervert who's worse to be around than a kaafir.

Hmm. :|
