Banadir

Postby TeAmo » Wed Jun 06, 2012 8:58 pm

Okay can someone tell me why Hawiye people call themselves Banadirys? Banadirys are the reer xamars smh I'm tired of these Hawiyes they looted and ruined the once beautiful city and now even claiming the name :? It seriously irritates me even though I'm Hawiye, my mum is reer xamar, she recently went to xamar and some dikead man said to her after an argument they had about a property that he has more right than her because he is an actual Somali what a dikhead. I think Hawiye people need to go back to their regions and stop bullying others. I swear this new coming elections there better be a new president who isn't maskeen nor a Hawiye so he can kick these dhoxols back to their regions  except the ones who actually belong there so they can stop claiming things that doesn't even belong to them.

You don't sound "hawiye" but I agree reer xamars and all rightful inhabitants like reer baraawe, marka, tunnis, digil/mirifle should be respected.

Conqueror stop the cursing, your cursing me as well. Yes Advo the rightful inhabitants SHOULD be respect but seems like some people don't know the meaning of the word. They expect to govern and control their own regions as well as other people's regions but don't allow others to control and govern their regions :? how does that work out? Their taking advantage of the maskeen rightful inhabitants of xamar, marka and Barwa. Hawiyes should not claim these lands!

Except reer baraawe the rest of reer xamar are half hawiye.

Reer xamar of banaadir are hawiyo-arabs

Some reer xamar are typical somalis and their abtirsi is samaale the same father of hawiye

Why they speak af somali if there was no somalis in xamar?

But the pre-hawiye of banaadir were not nomads like the hiraabs. They were morshe, silcis, walahmooge, hintire, duruqba, and then the nomadic hawiye has invaded with the help of the digil who took over afgooye from silcis.

This.

Faraxos you are taking the piss mate. I was born in Xamar and my family is from there so I have enough sense to know that Hawiye don't call themselves Banadiri, the phrase is actually new, they are what we called Cad Cads.

Banaadir refers to the name of that particular land. It has nothing to do with qabiil. I could be and most likely am wrong.

That's like Reer Xamar, people from Xamar were called that. But when the 4.5 thing was introduced, the .5 needed a name and Banadiri was what they chose. It is a collection of qabiils.
