Why is Banaadir called Banaadir?

Does anyone know? I've heard a couple of theories but im not sure which one is correct.

there is only one real history and cording to the historians like Mogadishu Banaadir is originally from Persian word bandar which means "port". Persian traders who came to Mogadishu nick name both Mogadishu and Banaadir region.

But saying Bandar out loud and Banaadir it sounds different though.

Why the pronunciation change?

the pronunciation change is somalis pronounced it differently.

Bander Dir the port of the Dir aka natives hence Banadir.

BanderQasim, Maakhir is named after Ali Siciid Qasim whose family were the first settlers from the Reer Qassim of the Adan Siciid. Hence the name port of Qasim! His family line were traders from Laas Qoray and established this trade post.

Funny how no one knows history.
