Memorial day for Victims of Dictator " Jaale" Siad Barre

Postby Waraabekale » Tue Oct 21, 2008 4:36 pm

I dedicate 21 october to the victims of Somalias most gruesome leader.
"Jaale " Siad Barre (AUN)

He did many good things but his darker sides must not be forgotten.
I hope Screw has the courage to make this a sticker as well.

In July 1989, one night about 55 men of the Isaaq tribe were forcefully removed from their houses, shuttled into Jazira, fired upon by the men whom were supposed to utilise for the safety of the public. Read the names of the victims your men denied the right to exist as human beings. Ask yourself why you have allowed this to happened? Ponder about the pain they suffered, while their flash was being torn apart by the bullets bought with the money, collected from the Somali taxpayers.
One man survived who told the story ....

To the Victims of President Siad Barres war crimes against humanity in Mudug region
poisining of their wells and killing of civillians.

The hazardious bombardment of northern Somali cities
according to some estimates 50 000 died and many thousands more in the follow up of Somali National Armys operation , you can see the proof in W/Galbeeds many massgraves around the riverbed.

This is what I remember
I dedicate this thread to the victims of Siad Barres gruesome reign through 21 years.
I condemn the deep corruption and nepotism which eventually destroyed our country.

Forgive but never forget a message from a Somalilander to the offspring of Aabo Siyaad

Imagine you are 16 years old in Hargeisa 1988 one morning in your neighbourhood Gacan Libaax you wake up of aerial bombing of your hometown by the law which was supposed to protect you. Your own government and President is working on a operational genocide utilizing the national army in killing you and your family.

Today you live in the west , but many of your near familymembers were lined up in Hargeisa and shot and thrown in massgraves in the riverbed.
Others made a little further but were eventually caught by goverment soldiers around checkpoints in the interior gobol of Waqooyie Galbeed.

If you wish to critique policy and assign blame, go ahead.

However, can we leave the condemnation to hell-fire of the dead completely? Not only is it not part of our tradition, the Almighty is already in receipt of his soul, his actions have been weighed and measured, and the appropriate response has been doled out. Subsequent condemnations like yours, Somalian-Boqor, are nothing but Kalaam Faadhi in light of Allah's Judgement, and really don't help your case.

Somalis deserve what they got from Jalle Siad. Besides, Siad himself never pull the trigger of a gun and killed anyone. I'm sure of this.
To Dhabacyo & ID:oops: :oops:RS: Stop being sensitive about the past. Hawiye never cries about the past. NOW MOVE ON!

Caga Dhiig, it's easy for you to heap praise on M.Siyad, after all you are a Dhulbahante. You haven't tasted his injustices, so you should let those who suffered the most. criticize him

As for you calling us Dhabayaco, Ok Kashmiir

Well, yeah ur right about who i'm and where my people stood in his lifetime. You are obviously bothered by my comment because it spoke the truth. Dhabacyo were humiliated and crushed.
Idoors and Hawiye were the ones who carried out the killings and kuufsi of your people. When it was idoors turn, your people took revange. Same with Hawiye people. Now, you call me whatever you want. I'll only talk the truth with you. You know what happened in Galkacyo in '80. You know what happened to MJ's in Xamer in '92.
My hawiye friends told me when Dhulloz or other Daroods were captured in the Mog wars of '91, they would get killed on the spot. Not ifs and buts about it. The MJs were gang raped and set sail on ship to Boosaso. Nimanka hawiye waa gay. They had a thing for MJ booty. Why couldn't they stick to the women. There were plenty.
Walaahi you know I hate to talk like this and downgrad myself. But you leave me no choice.
I love SIAD BARRE, I would take a bullet for him like most of dhulbahante did.
