WHAT IS WRONG WITH SHEIKH SHARIF???

My only reservation again't this "sheikh" is, he is been propagating for islamic sharia to be the only way forward for somalia ever since he came to the limelight. befor two 2 three years ago, few knew him out of the shores of somalia. The only thing that has brought him this fame and warm reception from somalis from many walks of life and to the limelight was him raising the kitab high and screaming "takbeer only sharia law for somalia and for somalis and nating more" in the Icu days

The last one year or so, he is been sharing bed with the very people he has vowed to fight to the bitter end. thats understandable, as one needs to use dialogue as means to achieve a lasting peace when other means fails.

What buffles me is, why would he take the oath of office swearing to uphold a constitution that he led many to believe he was deeply against.????? I Will chose him over any figure in somalia today if it's not for the above!

Maybe this guy is a cunny opportunist and we are blinded by his sweet talk and probably because we got no better choice at hand. An enemy that dresses in a sheep skin is worser than all the lot that passed in my opinion. Time will tell what he is upto but can u add your two cents on this matter or any other reservations you have agains't this man his Qabiil exluded?

Some people said he shaved his long beard to appear moderate to apease the west and the new "ahlu sunnah wal jameeca" . i will be lying if i say i say his beard was longer than it's now or b4 recent times. The beard was the last thing on my mind during them ICU days

i dont blame sheikh shariif for manipulating his way into the system. i think he did the right thing and he's concured. u can't please everyone. inshallah i hope he does a job though!

We can look for greener pastures else later but for now support the shababs, they are the only people holding unto what they say in deeds and words even if some of it may b wrong

i understand walaalo, but come on u think sheikh shariif is a flipflopper?! i mean he got to the top the best way he knew how. hadda we can only judge his actions from here on out. bal waanu aragnaa what he does for the country. whether it's bad or good. then with evidence of his ficil could we properly judge him.

By his hat if you mean the Palestinian headscarf I am all for dumping that sh!t. A president has to be presentable, sharp dressed and astute. A good perception has along way in helping him navigate his relationship with others.

As for his wife, let´s hope she doesn´t sport the eyesoring tent hijab.

If you believe these things about him and you are still willing to support him..then the problem is you and not him.

He is too weak, too clumsy and too flippy floppy to earn my respect..
But I will wait and see as to how he approaches things..he has a lot of convincing(with action not just words) to do to earn our(MY) trust and support.
