During their visit in Kenya, Somalia signed a memorandum of understanding on Wednesday on technical assistance and capacity building.
The agreement was signed by Kenya Foreign Affairs Minister Moses Wetangula and Somalia Deputy Prime Minister Sharif Hassan Sheik Adan, who is also the country’s finance minister.

The signing of the memorandum comes three years after a similar one was signed on technical and economic agreement in 2005.
The two countries also pledged to cooperate in security, immigration and technical assistance.
Last week, President Sharif toured several African countries as part of his first official foreign trip since coming to office in February 2009.
During his trip, Sheik Sharif Sheik Ahmed met with the presidents of Burundi, Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda, discussing ways to support the new Somali government.
