SANA'A, Oct.07 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh met here on Thursday with President of the Puntland State of Somalia Abdirahman Mohamed Farole ,who is currently visiting Yemen.

Talks in the meeting dealt with the Yemeni-Somali relations, the situation in Somalia and in particular in Puntland State, and outcomes of Farole's talks with Yemeni officials ,as well as issues related to combating piracy in the Gulf of Aden and coordinating efforts in this area.

President Saleh reiterated Yemen's support to security, stability and unity of Somalia, noting that Somalia is a brotherly country and its security and stability concerns Yemen and all countries in the region.

For his part, Farole commended the supportive positions of President Saleh to Somalia and his keenness on security and stability of Somalia, noting to the strong and historical ties between Yemen and Somalia.
Two prominent Gulf of Aden heads of state at the forefront of the war on terror meeting about ways to combat future problems. :up:

Dee paidmonkey you haven't answered my question. Can you tell me what the Pirate king was doing in Yemen? What is the point. If it was to get an autograph of another leader as you put it then well done to him. However, let me inform you Mujahid Silanyo does not collect anything like that his far to busy. :mrgreen:

Real talk bro, Yemen is a severely, chronically poor Country that lives on whatever handouts they get from the West, and their rich Arab neighbors. I have family that live there, and visit there all the time.
