Somaliland: Government bans the use of dollar

Somalis everywhere are corrupt because a) we think that holding a public office= enriching our pockets b) we think in the short-term and c) our greed has no limit and D) we blv in a god called qabiil and we feel that the money, we steal will trickle down to the qabil


Gurey, the main advantage of having the dollar as the official currency is that there is relatively- I say again, relatively price stability. The dollar is the global currency, it is pegged against all major currencies, the Somaliland govt cannot mass produce it; for every dollar spent, there should be an inflow of a dollar.

It is simple. BTW, for the somali ppl everywere, the dollar is the official currency already. Every major transaction is quoted in dollars.
