South Somalia can never survive without Somaliland, I have realised this now. " Somaliweyn" (Former British and Italian Somalilands) supporters are devastated because they know their dream of being a proper nation will be in tatters for eternity if Somaliland is recognised. It was Isaaq businessmen that use to keep mogadishu wealthy, that is how south somalia need us. The idea of us reuniting is hopeless now seeing as how mooryans with cimaamads are running the show. Also the 4.5 system is what is still causing problems politically between clans, only when it is scrapped would somalia be something again.

It isn't even that reason that the South has not had a government for 18 years. It has come from too many inept people at the top, too many new ideologies, and too many people who are making money off of the status quo.

You don't need to flash a sense of superiority just because there is some sort of government, we got enough wounds that we don't need more salt on

the only way you get recognition is from a credible government in Mogadishu.... recognition has to come from Mogadishu not anywhere else

somalia has been stateless since 1991... s-land has been trying to get recognized since 1991... its no coincidence both are interwined

Fah your grossly ignorant. Recognition must come from internationally recognized organizations like African Union, United Nations, European Union, etc. Not Somali Government. The somali government must play by the rules of the united nations and african union who are funding and monitoring this transitional government. "Lacag dad lagu ma siiyo for nothing" somalis are f-king stupid.

Even if somalian government recognized somaliland, they would need the approval of 1. African Union...2. United Nations...and that is just bare minimum, not to mention Ethiopia. And these organizations would never allow Somali government to recognize somaliland because it would create disaster in their countries with every tribe and group declaring independence.
