Southerners need us

The south and somaliland both have fertile lands but..the south gets money from un and also food aid..as of right now 1 million people need food and might starve thats aside from the rest of the popultaion in the area..Neither somaliland nor somalia are self sufficient when it comes to food..remember this is africa were speaking of.

I'm talking potential. The south could potentially feed every Somali in the Horn. The same way South Sudan could potentially feed all of Africa.

We can talk about the laws of comparative advantage, free trade, and all that mumbo jumbo.... but Somalis need to make food their number one priority.

and people are starving cause of the fighting...obviously since the past two-three years...

and all of somalia gets food aid every month or whatever...its the same in the whole Horn

Ducaysane, do you know how to debate without insulting? well I think your point of view is stupid. What your saying is South Somalia needs Burundi, Uganda, Ethiopia, Kenya, EU, USA, Djibouti,IGAD, USA but not Somaliland?

All countries are interdependent economically thats not what I meant, of course we need eachother economically. I was talking politically, I believe mediation/intervention by Somaliland in the traditional Somali way would be 100% more effective than all the efforts that have been made previously.

Aaliyah - atleast Uganda and Burundi is a recognized countries - and they get Aid from outside world - but somaliland we are not Recognized yet so lets not jump to the guns and think that we can sort problems in south when even the most powerful western country USA tried to sort the problems - they couldnt - what makes you think Somaliland can sort it out ? my advice is somaliland does not need to get invovlve in this stage they are not yet Recogzined lets keep what we have and not waste our resources into the South - the only way we can help them is giving them Advice on how to build peace Democracy State

^^It is sad for me to say that for once i agreed to duca-insane...u cant just said that we should help them when their politician not only despise us but also envy us...u cant help a jealous person full of hate....I mean playing all those card alraedy played by faqash to udnermined the notion of somaliland and u want us to help them....girl they rather ask help somewhere than ask us for help...and why the hell are we going to put our young men at risk way for ungrateful folks...man i wouldnt be surprise if we help them and bring peace in the south and then turn their back on us when it comes to our recognition...we're helping feed a potential adversary...why the hell we will do that...unless they lied down on some sort of contract of mutual agreement sign by united nation or afrcan nation..

P.S. cusmano my lsot friend and realsitically backward it only takes mogadisho's ok to get somalialnd recognize....marka all those africa union or united nation thing are not mandatory..go learn history and start with eastern europe...misskeen daroos boy...i still amaze at his 10 millions darood in somalia...loooooooool...
