Gabiley looks so good Keyse i heard all the reer jabuutis ayaa guryahoodii ka dhisnayd Gabiley used to be much smaller in the 60s and 70s and today its one of the largest Somaliland cities. The roads in gabiley are nice the road from hargeisa to gabiley is smooth to. Well done reer gabiley keep up the good work.

Yeah when I was there it was jilal (sp?) season. No rain what so ever and the produce was very weak. I was told it rained since then, alhamdulilah. The feilds in gabile were very dry, plus they dont have proper irigation systems in place.

Things would have been alot better if they had a good irrigation system in place.

Reer Gabiley shoud stay in their home and develop their city.

Gabily waa magaalo dhaqaale badan...The little bank in Gabiley supports the whole Somaliland admistration.

Gabiley district has the highest daily income.

I love the hilly side of that city and its flat stones

1982 was the first time I went to Gabiley. I was smitten. grandpa's corn & sugar cane fields, the cattle, the fresh milk, the clean, sometimes frigid air, the xareed water tasted like honey to my parched lips, used to the salty and stale water of djibouti...We'd go to the dry river bank to dig a laas/hole and drink of the cool water...taking dinner to the guys at the field, in the middle of the night, with the moon or a torch for a light while hearing the hyenas fighting over leftover bones by the market...very fond memories...I was born in a city but I am a qodaal in my heart
