Bull. This is to defame the good name of the company. Dahabshiil is prestige to be caught in the web of violence in somalia. They always help the needy in every region throughout somaliwayne. I remember the dhuloz also accused them of helping the SL army in the Sool campaign, off course that was found to be untrue.

And vice versa. Dahabshiil has nothing to gain from aiding suppose terrorists; that would be irresponsible of them. Terrorist charges is what shut down the rising Al barakaat remember? Unless the Southern branches are going out of their ways in helping Alshabab with company money; i don't think the actual Dahabshiil would ever become a financier for ailing and isolated terrorist group specially at a time when the company is expanding into big banking business.

I was just about to mention Al Barakat. But yeah, I posted it because the group made the official claim on their website so it served some importance. And plus, the Dahabshiil guys are from overseas right, so they probably don't even know about Somali politics.

yeah. What made dahabshiil well liked company is because it's always neutral and helps it people during droughts and donating money for clinics and hospitals. They donated substantial amount of money to build a clinic in puntland earlier this yr. These guys are good and witty business people. I dont think they will ever ruin their good relations with people by supporting crazy people like alshababz.

Who knows, maybe the owners got bored in London and decided to spice up their lives.

All of these famous Somali warlords live in the states or all over Europe, when they get bored they head off to Somalia to recruit some kids and fight.
