Hargeisa = 8 km x 8,5 km = 68 km2

Mogadishu = 15 km x 5 km = 75 km2

Not that big of a difference....Mogadishu just seems to be much wider

Get on a low height level and explore both cities. You can clearly tell from any local distance with the naked eye that Xamar is far larger than Hargeisa. Hargeisa in whole is no larger than any 3 neighborhoods in Xamar.

guys listen iam reer hargeisa i love hargeisa, but it is just sily to compar it to mogadisho, mogadosho did not grow for the last 20 years but keep in mind in 1991 1 district out of 16 districts in mogadisho was the same size as the whole hargeisa and that district is Madiina.
