Don’t you know we hate having the same house as our neighbors? We don’t like uniforms and compromised quality.
They tried to build these houses with OP money (investments) instead of building it with their own cash and selling them later. None was willing to buy something they can’t see. Plus, Hargeisa is a neighborhood driven city. Your potential buyers will be concentrated mainly in certain group from the east end of the city. You can’t run business that way. You have to weigh all options.

If you mean the bricklayers then no it's not jareer, but the locals. As for the construction, each company builds in only their local neighbourhood otherwise if they were to try to build in a different section of the city, waa la shiidi lahaa
