Ethiopia knows that its relationship with somaliland is long term and based on shared interests, political and economic.
The relatioship was skewed towards Ethiopia becuase the Udub crew were weak.
The Udub crew were weak becuase they came into power by accident and had no popular support and were only interested prolonging thier rule and getting money...

Siilanyo has somaliland behind him, and he has the support of the Eu and the US.
Siilanyo is simply returning the relagtionship back into balance the way it was under the marxuum Cigaal.
Cigaal was not Ethiopias bitch and clashed wit them several times,,

nothing happened, so why all the fuss about siilanyo??

Gurey, i agree with you 100% and support the new government in its stance against the Ethiopian aggressors.

It's about time a somali political entity stood up against the Ethiopian bullies who have been playing us against eachother for decades. A move all Somalis irrelevant of their political ideologies should applaud, just as they should respect our recent historical elections. However, i do understand ruunloows concerns. Somaliland is not strong enough to stand up against Ethiopian interests in the region on its own, if this tough stance is continued over the long term, then surely they will just support one of the other regional entities such as the SSc and Bintiland against us. Knowing the recent history of Puntland, they will do anything to catch this oppertunity.

It is in Ethiopia's strategic interest to maintain a good relationship with Somaliland . Riyaale wu is hoos dhigi jiray xabashida oo waa ilaa ninki yidhi " I congratulate Ethiopia for invading Xamar" Ina Lilah wa ina Ileehi Rajicuun . Silanyo is of a different stock and caliber ! Let's not forget that in terms of democratic acheivement we're above Ethiopia . Marka anigu waxan odhan laha qof jecel inu iska bajiyo ...de horror movie inta la iska soo kiraysto ayaa gurigaaga lagu daawada , laakin bacda kala foogaada muslimiinta Ilaah khayr ha idin siiye , I have never been this optimistic about any administration we've had so far than Silanyo's simply for the "xalaal" way it came to power , Allah sees it all !

Siilaanyo wants to fight with Ethiopia!!!
Is he f-king crazy or what?
Oh My God... Habar Jeclooy talo xun... bal waxaynu doorannay eega.
I Think he is told he will die soon and this is his way of saying "I will take you with me"

What a f-king moron....

This will be the end of Somaliland. Daarood fags are celebrating already, Hawiye are cheering as they see a chance to transfer Mogadishu Issue to Hargeisa. Qundhunbiirsi will finnaly declare their freedom.

Unbelievable shit.

Even if this idiot fires Gaboose, Xaashi and the rest of the terrorist, the damage is already done.

Fuck! If you combine this disaster with his love affair with Habar Awal, I think is not in charge... This is not the Siilaanyo I know walaahi. HJ yaan talo Isaaq oo danbe loo dhiibin.
Beenlow,

Shut up, you know nothing. Siilaanyo is doing what he can to save this part of Somali region.

Ethiopia's ambitions is to gradually swallow Northern Somalia (SL) and make it as part of Ethiopia or at least seize the Seylac port. Open your mind and look at what the previous agreements between SL and Ethiopia were stating and what are the Ethiopian intentions? If you pay attention to the agreements, you will notice that a highway will be built that will connect Tog Wajaale to all the way Berbera and also from Berbera to Seylac.

Agreements were also reached in principle that a port would be built in Seylac and it would be heavily used by Ethiopians and the security of the new port would be provided by 50,000 Ethiopian military. Have you ever heard that before? The only thing that is lacking in these agreements is parliamentary approval and presidential signature. Some even stated that the previous SL governments signed it but I have not heard of any conclusive evidence to prove that it was signed.

To my understanding, President Siilaanyo and his cabinet is trying to reverse this gradual takeover of our land by Ethiopia. The Ethiopians are also doing their part to soften him and his cabinet up until they come on board and give their land or part of the land away by signing those agreements. This whole talk of Gaboose, Xaashi, and Khaliif are Islamists and supporters of the Somali Islamists is just a smokescreen. Ethiopia wants to resolve its lack of sea access and is determined to get these ports from Northern Somalia (SL).

The challenge to you and many Somalis is whether you can see what is blowing up in front of our eyes. You can continue to believe in pleasing Ethiopia any way it wishes but reality is in front of you. At least allow the man to do what he can since the damage was already done by destroying the Somali Republic.
