Cost of rental properties in Somaliland capital.

Postby Siciid85 » Sun Aug 29, 2010 6:37 pm

Cost of rental properties in Hargeisa? Friend of mine told me his family is renting 4 bedroom 2 bath villa for $300 in New Hargeysa neighborhood. My sister in law wants to relocate from Muqdisho to Hargeisa and she asked me this question. Your honest answers are appreciated.

Thanks,

SiciidG

For new houses, u can get anything fom $100 to $300 a month for a crazy new house

 If that is the case hargeisa is by far best place to live away from home if you are rer Muqdisho. It's very expensive to live in Nairobi I think Somalis from Xamar should relocate to Hargeisa from Nairobi til things get better in the south.

Somehow dadka xamar ka yimid are terrified of "Waqooyi" they think we hate them. :|

Isaaq xammer waa lagu soo dhaweeyey yaa kugu yidhi. Havent you heard terms like "xabad keentay" were coined for Isaaqs.

I'm hearing many positives from rer Koonfurs in Hargeisa. Those of them that live there love it there . I think sometimes we Isaaqs don't give enough credit to ourselves.

Timocase do you hate rer Xammar. I most certainly don't. If I had rental property in Hargeisa I would rent it to them with hometown discount walibana. I think you might have taken biased sayings into heart. We are the most welcoming people out of all Somalis in my opinion.

Runtii those hawiye ppl of xamar are from cool people, unlike us to be honest. Dont look at the current thugs meesha ka yimi,

War Hawiye are all over Somamliland, even Raaxanweyn jareer are all over Somaliland.... I think its good to welcome our somali brothers, they are having it hard Back Home, and we should welcome them with open arms.. There alot of them in Burco Renting houses, i had 1 hawiye family near my house, they had 5 young teenagers, they hardly use to come out, and even if they went out, they felt scared some how, i felt soo sorry for them wallahi, we are bit ignorant reer Miyis some times, our people should learn how to mix with people outside our Qabiil....

This reminds me of one of my Sacad muuse friends who was staying in Hargeisa a couple years ago. My brother was in Burco and he told the hargeisa guy to come down to Burco and the hargeisa guy goes :

"Kaalay isoo doon dee"

Mar dambe uu tagay soo kii yaabay oo lahaa 'burco sidii la sheegi jiray ba maaha'.
Qaarkood waxeey reer burco uu haystaan ummada cadaabta.
