Siyaad Barre's words

Postby LiQaaye_TDH » Wed Oct 20, 2010 9:31 am

Siyad Barre Quote:
"When I came to Mogadishu there was one road built by the Italians. If you try to force me to stand down, I will leave the city as I found it. I came to power with a gun; only the gun can make me go".

Isaaq removed siyaad bare
I have never ever ever seen anyone say that. Iidoors were occupied to the end and would be if the government was not destroyed in the South. My uncles were still in their bases in isaaq territory even after the government fell and decided to just leave when they realized there was no government anymore.

Was what was the point of having 80% of the SNA in Waqooyi, vacation? Man your father Afweyne lost and your uncles were cowards who deserted when the Hawiye's left the fight. Anaku we fought the whole SNA Hawyie included for ten years but the moment you were left alone you cowards deserted.

MSB was removed from power by the USA and European countries after they cut off all economic and military aid, encouraged Arab countries to do similar which they followed, and at the sametime increased the funding and arming to the rebel groups. It is not a secret as American officials in Somalia in the late 80s and early 1990s admitted it.

True. The world become unipolar. Washington had no need for Somalia any longer and didn't feel like supporting a dictator that continued to abuse human rights.

It is a simple equation really.
