^^ Actually Sool is bigger than Saxiil. If we judge size by that map it would be like this below.

In order of size starting with the biggest regions.

1. Sanaag
2. Sool
3. Maroodijeex
4. Saxiil
5. Badhan
6. Awdal
7. Oodweyne
8. Togdheer
9. Caynabo
10. Buhoodle
11. Gabiley
12. Salal

Here is a better version though.

Bulahaar is part of Saaxil. So that map makes Saaxil look smaller. But I agree that Sanaag and Sool are the two biggest regions in Somaliland.
third biggest is Saaxil.

Sanaag: Divided into
Boharo
Madar
Sanaag

the largest gobol of Maakhir is Sanaag-Boharo than Madar.

Last I checked Sanaag is not a region of Somaliland but a former region of Somalia now Maakhir.

Kulaha Badhan, Isaaqs are so desperate.

The only states i recognise:
Waqooyi Galbeed
Togdheer
Awdal
Saxiil
Sanaag
Sool

there are no other states. It was daahir riyaale kaahins dream to break somaliland states into qabiil ridden 'gobols'. 99% of somalilanders dont support the soo called new states

Timo_Case. I agree i think it's better if Somaliland stays with 6 diverse regions instead of dividing the regions along clan lines.

Bulahaar is part of Sahiil in that part. Just on the left wide.
