Good or bad for Somaliland?

Jobs, enterprise etc all good. But a factory like this always uses a lot of water, which at times is very scarce.

That is old news sxb it was in may 2010 that it was suggested. In terms of creating jobs it might be good for the locals and the economy since if sland makes their own Coco Cola brands it won't need to import it from the outside. Laakinse it takes alot of water + a place to dump the chemicals & wastes.

For the short term this is a good thing, so that unemployment is minimised. However, as you said, this a bad thing for the long term with the excessive water usage needed to run the factory.

If it's a small company that only produces just enough for the city, it's good but anything more than that has drastic effects on the environment.
