How are their relations?
For now stable Gadabuursi used to fight with ciise before the colonialist came to Somaliland and Djibouti and in parts of Ethiopia also in the 50s they also fought in side Djibouti during the late 80s and begin 90s they also fought when the Ciise allied them selfs with he SNM. There were many wars in between the border of Somaliland and Djibouti between teh clans for now things are good.

Does Djibouti police the border with Somaliland? Is there a border checkpoint, or does anybody cross?

Murax our relations with the Ciise was always one of conflict of interest. This is the best time in our relations as now there is peace between us however the amount of wars between us is beyond count. Dagaalki Ina gunti weyne, dagaalk cel makahil VS Reer Gedii 18th century, dagaalki Ugaas Nuur VS Ugaaski Ciisaha Faarax Gunti weyne, dagaalkii biyo kabooba 1995, dagaalki lawyacaddo, guerisa, saylac etc. Its too much, Im missing many other wars, these are just a few. But now we are at peace and are on good terms. We used to be the leaders in Djibouti before the ciise kicked us out.

Maya asalkooda waa Dir. They are ancient Somalis so we do not go back up to any Arab. Gadabursi waa Cali Madaluug iyo abtirsidiisa waa Dir, Cisuna waa Madoobe Dir
