I dont understand this case. Ppl write that Dahabshiil and Telesom are opening a new fabric in Berbera. How can Dahabshiil and Telesom which are major competitors open a fabric together? Is it maybe Somtel (owned by Dahabshiil) and not Telesom (owners from Mogadishu)? I really appreciate the help.

First of all Telesom is a somaliland owned company and it's headquarters is in Hargeysa don't confuse it with Hormuud (that is the one that is owned by Southern Somalis). Secondly are you not a puntlander? why are you concerned with if Telesom & Dahabshiil are opening a new fabric together in Berbera? perhap they don't want to go through the cost of opening each for it's own but rather chose to share it.

No, I'm not puntlander. If Telesom is owned by somalilanders, why don't they help somaliland ppl, building the country, etc? Everyone know they are owned by southerners, its ex baraakat.

Well maybe you should do your own research about sland companies.

Ex Barakat was split into multiple companies. (Telesom belonging to Somaliland as i have said) and Hormuud belonging to Southerners).

As for Telesom not helping Somaliland they just donated 50k in february to drought victims in Sland and have done road works in Hargeysa, Awdal, other parts of Somaliland. They did countless other good things for the people of Somaliland. Orod meesha nacnacda kala tag.

Thanks for the list, it is very rare that I see news about Telesom contributing with cash, and I read many different websites. Dont be that paranoid, its not good for your health. I'm 100% lander and never claimed others in any room hahaha. Who are the ppl who own telesom, give me their names and clans.

True. Some Id!ots think just because two companies might be competing in the wider market/industry they can't enter new ventures together.

Telesom Aka EX Barakaat has done few things for the people of somaliland, they recently also helped to build a small bridge near Beer in Togdheer... Telesom The Northern Branch is owned by Isaaqs and Ogaaden majority share holders anyway! but i see this Major Project this 2 giants are doing together a great step, remember the Cement factory will be very expensive to build so if this 2 companies are gonna build a new one the estimate will be around 10 milll.....

Wasn't the old cement factory being rebuilt by a group of businessmen anyway?
why a need for another one? I understand competition and all, but do they honestly think there'll be enough domestic demand
or are they thinking of exporting?

There is no Ogaden interest in Telesom. A Abakor Muuse (Ciidagale) man holds majority share with some Celi Saciid (HY) men as minor share holders.

The Ogaden own Telecom Somaliland.

Lets see how this project ends. So far it looks like beesha ciise muuse will not accept this new factory because of the owners clan. When will they open the old factory that they have been working on for, is it 7 years?
