This is much Ado about nothing then. Money remittance services is something we already have w/ Dahabshiil and countless others out there. I will get excited when I see Walmart opening a branch in Hargeisa :D

Rightwing, Salaamz bro.

Yes bro, right from the comfort of your Sofa. This new money transfer angent is targeting all of afric and the rest of the world as well. It is somali owned and its business plan won an entrepenuership contest from the londong school of business in october. This sounds too good to be true, but it is. It's advertisement is " do you still que up at a hawala" LOL

http://www.worldremit.com. check it out.

I for one welcome all competition.

P.S. Just me, western union is partnered with a somali owned company if you read the article.

Maansha allah

^ Even if it is a 50/50 venture, I wouldn't use it.

competition is good, it allows companies to fight for their customers, prices will be lower and services would be better, Somaliland authority should encourage this and also encourage investment from outside of the horn.

Dahabshiil biggiest enemies are cidgaale waliba a subclan of them, they have been behind these alternative money transferring agencies. I disagree that he shouldve paid them hush monies but he should've build few mansions for their king, faisal cali hyena.
