Who has the most to gain or lose from more political party's

Cirwaaq anyone can form a party but in order to take part in the local elections you have to have certain number of constituency to even qualify. Once they qualify they can take part in the local elections and the top 3 parties will go on to take part in the general elections. The 3 parties that come out of the local elections will be wheeling and dealing to secure the supporters of the failed parties. You will hear xisbi hebel oo ki biray one of the 3 parties..etc. I think the Harti camp stand a good chance since people have politically matured but need to work that extra hard to get their constituency to participate

Madelina, this has already happened once with the formation of the three current political party's and will not be reform but rather a repeat. Like i said earlier if this happens during every election then there will be no stability as there will always be the possibility of three new party's for every election.

Liq, HA will definatly form new party's because they believe that they don't have a chance of winning if Musse Bixi takes over and there right. Think about it this way, if there were no new party's he wud have a chance because the Kulmiye die hards wud vote for him, if there is a new HJ party he will neva win bcos his support base wud be split.
