Well said, am sick to the death of Somali people bigging up place like Nairobi, Dubai or Addis Ababa compare to Somali cities like Mogadishu, Hargeisa, Bosaaso, etc...Am from Kenya, but I feel more affinity with the latter cities than these well developed cities.

How much of this city is owned by the British? and what about places like Mathare and Langata?

Waar annagu idin maanu odhan jeclaada!... ama calaa-cala, Somalia iyadaa is wastay ee ha is eersato.
Aniga waxa kaliya ii farxad ah, markaan arko waddan jaarkayga ah, oo isu tashaday, wadaddii saxa ahaydna haya, oo tiigsanaaya horumar caalamiya. Ugu hanbalyee jaarkaaga ama walaalkaa, waxa uu dabcado hana ka xumaan ma ceebbaa???

Intaad odhan lahayd ''Maxaa iga galay, ma anaa leh'' dheh ''Mabrook'' ama allow u siyaadi. :hijack:

I agree with you but the thing about the Kenyan Bantu is if you see them on the streets, you would think they came straight of London Business District. Very civilized people. Now compare to Somalis, even the ones in London Business District show extreme signs of third world ignorance. Wallahi the Bantu in the village is more sophisticated in terms of degananaansho, talk normally, being preoccupied, know how to act in certain situations then the most reer magaal Somalis.

But for me, Nairobi is not my favorite city in Kenya...not even second...It is Mombasa Raaxa, then Nukuru

i agree, in a african setting kenya niarobi judging from the image northwind posted it would definetly pass for 1st world in a african level. but i wanted to know was are there a set number of requirements needed for a country to be part of the 1st world, and who the hell determines which country is 1st world and not.... im just picturing an african country recieving an invitation letter which says " Well done, welcome to the club, you are now part of the 1st world"
