What I don't understand is that the above map shows that Widhwidh is not part of Somaliland and then Somaliland officials can enter the town without opposed by ssc militia or pirateland...etc? :?

I have heard Somaliland is planning to make Widhwidh the new Headquarters of Buhoodle region. Any truth to it?

WidhWidh is not part of Somaliland nor is it Part of Puntland, you had 2 delegations for Puntland that visited widhwidh 3 weeks ago and another one 1 month ago. Not on anyway on that basis would it considered part of Puntland or Somaliland. WidhWidh administration like the most regions in SSC are independent from those two administration.

Neither is Widhwidh part of SSC. It's currently under the rule of Keyse Yusuf who is aligned with Somaliland.

SSC websites seem upset by the visit.

Maleeshiyo Uu Horkacayo Wasiirka Xoolaha SNM Oo Gaadhay Widhwidh (Dhagayso).

lol@Laba belood ba maag & heeshis kala qadanaya. That must be the lamest excuse no offence. Why would Col.Dhancade, Ina kahiin be there if it's just about clans heeshinaya. :? Besides i though SSC were claiming no Sland minister, official is welcomed in their land a while back? Much ado about nothing.

Here is the real reasons.....

Wasiirka Xanaanada Xoolaha Oo Ka Waramay Ujeedada Ay U Tageen Widh-Widhi Iyo Soo Dhawayntiisa Oo Ay Ka Qayb-Galeen Ciidamo Ka Tirsanaan Jiray Nabad-diidka SSC.

Hargeysa (Ramaas) May 21, 2011 - Wefti uu hogaaminayo wasiirkii Wasaaradda Xanaanada xoolaha, deegaanka iyo horumarinta reer miyiga Somaliland Dr Cabdi Aw Daahir Cali, ayaa shalay gaadhay degmadda Widh-Widh ee gobolka Buuhoodle.

Weftigan uu hogaaminayo wasiirka Wasaaradda Xanaanada Xoolaha Somaliland oo ay ka mid yihiin afhayeenka xisbiga KULMIYE Md Maxamed Kaahin Axmed iyo Taliyaha ciidamada qaranka ee aaga bari Gen Dhan-cadde ayaa si fiican loogu soo dhaweeyay degmadda Widh-widh, iyadda oo la sheegay in ciidamada sugaya amaanka weftiga inay ka mid ahaayeen maleeshiyo ka tirsanaan jirtay kooxda nabad-diidka SSC oo dhawaan lagu qarameeyay degmadda Widh-widh oo lagu daray ciidamadda qaranka ee jiidaas.

Wasiirka Wasaaradda Xanaanada xoolaha Somaliland Dr Cabdi Aw Daahir Cali oo u waramay Ramaasnews.com ayaa sheegay in degmadaasi ay u tageen hawlo la xidhiidha sii der-der-galinta gogoshii nabada ee Madaxwayne Axmed Maxamed Maxamuud (Siilaanyo) hore ugu fidiyey dadka ku dhaqan deegaanadaa ee wax ka tabanaya xukuumadda Somaliland.

Dr Cabdi Aw Daahir Cali oo ugu horeyn ka hadlaya ujeedada ay Widh-widh u tageen waxa uu hadalkiisa ku bilaabay “Waxaanu u tegnay mashaariic meesha laga fulinayay oo dawladu ugu deeqday degmada Widh-Widh inaanu soo kormeero, waxa kale oo aanu u tagnay arinkii nabadeynta ee Madaxwaynuhu ugu baaqay ee gogasha ahayd ee saldhiga looga dhigay degmadda Widh-Widh inaanu taana debagal ku samayno oo aanu u sii gogol xaadhno iyo inaanu umaddaa kala qayb-galno xafladihii xuska 18-ka May.”ayuu yidhi Dr Cabdi Aw Daahir, waxaanu intaa ku daray “Inaanu odayaasha iyo waxgaradka meesha is-wareysano oo arimaha degmada iyo gobolka si gaar ah iskaga wareysano.”

Wasiirku waxa kale oo uu ka hadlay “Wax Marnaba soo dhammaaday maaha nabaduna hawsheeda iyo wakhtigeeda ayay u baahan tahay, markaa tani (Safarka) waa bilow fiican, dadka reer Widh-widhna si fiican ayay noo soo dhaweeyeen, nabada aad iyo aad ayay diyaar ugu yihiin, markaa waxay noqonaysaa bilow fiican, maalmo ha qaadato ama todobaado ha qaadatee ama sanad ha qaadatee ka daali mayno qorshahaas iyo sidii aanu dalkeena guud ahaantii nabadgalyo ugu soo dabaali lahayd.” Ayuu yidhi, waxaanu intaa ku daray isaga oo tilmaamaya cida soo dhawaysay oo ay ka mid ahaayeen ciidamo ka tirsanaan jiray kooxda nabad-diidka ah ee SSC oo hadda lagu daray ciidamada qaranka “Ciidanka uu watay Kayse (Sarkaal Ka tirsanaan jiray kooxda SSC) oo ciidan badan ah iyo ciidankii qaranka ayaa la isku daray oo waala qarameeyay, markaa dad badan ayaa na soo dhaweeyay oo ay ku jiraan kuwo SSC ka soo galay (goostay).”

Wasiirka xanaanada xoolaha oo la waydiiyey in socodkooda Widh-Widh la xidhiidho sidii Widh-Widh loogu qaban lahaa gogoshii nabada ee Madaxwayne Axmed Siilaanyo ku baaqay “Haa hawshaasi waa hawsha oo aanu anagu u soconay.” Ayuu yidhi waxaanu intaa ku daray “Amaanka Widh-Widh waa boqolkiiba boqol calanka Somaliland meel walba wuu ka babanayaa”
