I don't really see what is funny here, most countries have a single representative where as somalis have 3. The question of Somalia's Unity is still unresolved and hence still representative of the republic that formed in 1960 in addition to that this same republic has 3 distinct governments that all seek representation at the world stage.

Even if somaliland is recognised tomorrow and have their own individual seat, Puntland will still argue to have equal representation in any international arena where Somalia is invited.

I may possibly shift my stance on your recognition purely because you are in an strategic location as a counter balance to the existance of pirateland. If this was even remotely possible you would not be asking for independence. Lets be honest, even with Russian military & economic aid you would still play second fiddle to Majerteen and Hawiye sub-clans in Somali politics, no one will nor has anyone ever taken you guys seriously.
