waayeel101 i think some forumers in here misunderstood it. The locals are only taking part of building Burco to Kaba-Dheere and that is 10km in terms of distance. From Kaba-Dheere to Hargeysa that is where the government is expected to start it from.

You're kinda right. Unless the united nations is steping in i dont know how the gov can found this alone. 1km of road is expensive alone.

waayeel101 Do you think we don't know the distance between it and the fact there is mountains, dooxiyiin? You have told told us nothing new sxb we know our land very well. Hence why local engineers who know the land and it's terrains who also took part of the building of some bridges in Burco in the past were hired.

i agree with waayeel, 150km is a huge job which not even be completed in 10 years or more, comparing that to how long and how much it takes to complete 1km

One more thing might i add is one has to first know those regions terrains very well to anaylse how difficult it might be building it (Togdheer, Oodweyne,Garoodi(Maroodijeex). Southern/Central/Western Togdheer for the most part is flat as opposed to the what wayeel said about "mountains" , Oodweyne region for the most part is again flat with the expection of the North, Eastern Maroodijeex again is not very hilly with the expection of the North east & North Maroodijeex. Those are the facts. Awdal, Sanaag, Saxiil are more hilly than those regions i listed so mountains is not a good excuse for this regions.

Here is even the map. Lamiga xage ba la raba inaga laga dhiiso? It's central! i would understand your arguement about "mountains" if it was the Cadaadley, Go'daweyne route.

The terrain of those regions as you can see most of the mountains, hills are located in north of those regions and not the central areas where the road is planned. Gobolada Somaliland so kala barta.
