Jow! I am in shock innityou still at it
along i was on your side but not to worry it can happen to the best of usJow! I am in shock innityou still at it

The education point. It is not a case of fault but seats, qualiy of education. How can non-citizens get free education while SLand citizens can't? Whose fault is that?Their children attend the free primary schools of Somaliland whilst some Somaliland children cannot
Bring forth some facts. You can't say in one post that they are unskilled workers who sit around and beg and in the other say that they are taking jobs.Yes they are taking jobs from the local population
If this sentece makes sense to you please slap yourselfThey are a drain on the economy with all the constant begging
Them paying for your water, charcoal, foodstuff and other basics actually means they are putting money into your economy and helping local businessestheir use of the resources e.g. water, charcoal, foodstuff and other basics which raises prices
Dude you are chatting rubbish, in the most respectful way since I have never spoken to you. If this is true then it just sounds like a government eager to please its people by picking on the least popular of the society. You lot should be hanging your heads in shame.

It is their own choice to let Somalis be be here and in most cases people came here as refugees for which there are provisions in law. Just because someone else does something because their population is highly skilled, they need low skilled labourers, there is a shortage in the labour pool and their fertility rates are falling does not mean you should think their policies are automatically good for you.You know how many Somalis including Somalilanders entered countries all over the world as illegal immigrants?wallahi this is one of those situations where you just have to laugh at the irony.
difficult initI thought the Oromos go to Bossaso not Somaliland. Or is there a human trafficing ring in berbera?

The new Silaanyo admin has done something about it but they used to trail the road from Wajaale to Boosaaso by foot. You'd be driving to say burco and every so often you'd see walking oromos. Some go to Boosaaso, some stay, some beg till they have enough for the journey, some beg and walk and some perish.I thought the Oromos go to Bossaso not Somaliland. Or is there a human trafficing ring in berbera?
BlackVelvetI reckon the hypocricy of such a move is too obvious to deny. Politicians as usual are creating the illusion of a "common enemy" to build support. It is so not our culture to turn people away because they are poor and have to beg.
There is no justified economic reason to kick them out. The social reasons make you sound like BNP, which is a testament to the short memory and hypocisy of humans.

To you and EPDRF supporters yes they are economic migrants, but to a native who knows the persecution that exists, they are oppressed souls seeking a better life. I wonder how people can speak of immigrants and migrations when Somalis from Somaliland and others go to Qabribayah, who wish to eventually transport themselves to places in Oromia and Ethiopia? Telling me to believe that all people migrating then and now are all just staying in the Somali region would be crazy to assume. Also if this act is carried out, it could create an negative atmosphere for Oromos and Somalis in Haraghee who live peacefully together, as it did 10-12 year ago. This would not be good news for them. The world you speak of does not care for Oromos. Frankly it is not even known that they are refugees, they are more like economic migrants. No one says this will solve all problems but it is a simple case of cost benefit analysis and your people contribute nothing. What do we benefit from being a springboard to Arabia for you ? When you say Somalilanders fled to Ethiopia during their independence war, don't you realise they only whent to their relatives across the other side of the porous border between Somaliland and Somali Region (the hint is in Somali) mostly fleeing to the Somali region and not Oromia as you'd have us believe. Recognition has nothing to do with this.Sure kick out all Oromo refugees like thats gonna solve all your problems. Your former British Protectorate known to the world as Somaliland will have a harder time trying to get recognition status now they are planning to get evict oppressed refugee seeking immigrants. I don't know why these Somalilanders think theres this secret mission of Oromos to colonize Hargeisa or something? Oromos could care less for that place. They are using Somaliland as a hub to reach Arabia, and from there on to Europe. You people like to complain about Oromos there are jobless and destitute and poor, yet Somaliland is place where 70% of the people there are unemployed. This is not because of Oromos. Even when you guys had your own leader bomb your own town, alot of these people migrated to Ethiopia, especially in Oromia, yet faced no forms of discrimination. Now today when you have those roles reversed they do the exact opposite. This shows lack of compassion for human life and are xenophobic to the extreme. These are not acts for which a government who desperately earns to seek international recognition commits. But my personal opinion of the matter is Oromos should not migrate and stay where they are.
Oromos should do more than just not migrate. OROMOS should go to OROMIA and liberate and develop it. We will do what we have to and I suggest you do the same. Come to us when you propose a mutually beneficial relationship. Its a dog eat dog world, yaa wax ka galeen if a few oromos laba farood dhexdood ka dhacaan

Somaliland doesn't receive billions of dollars in aid like other countries. In the long term it will be difficult to sustain 100,000 illegal immigrants with a rapidly increasing population as more and more illegal immigrants are arriving this number will double every quickly. So I guess this is just a preventive strategy to tackle this now rather then leaving it too late when it gets messy and out of control. This makes no sense at all.
Are these people taking welfare from the SLand government? Are they taking jobs? Are they a drain on the economy? Sounds like the SLand government is getting rid of poor people just because they don't like the look of them, if that is how a country chooses to behave then at least do us a favour and erase the shahada from your flag.
