The traditional leadership is very much needed its part of our cultural heritage they make peace between the various Clans of Somaliland when there are troubles this is part of our traditional African democracy the Clan elders represent the people to some extend not saying the MPS don't but the Clan elders should not interfere with the political governance of the country how ever if they want to help organize their regions clans or what ever in to a better future why not are we not a democracy don't they have that right they are not breaking the rules of the constitution

The elders are needed the Cultural traditional Political leadership in the Guurti revolves around the Clan elders as well so its essential

I do believe though only a few Clan chiefs should recognized as true Clan elders and not all these fake Koofiyad baclayaal
