Xamud. according to some websites BM was also used and various other weapons. As for Cidaanka Qaranka well the thugs attacked them in the first place when Xaabsade tried to pay a visit to the Dhullo odayaal they shot at two JSL soldiers from the windows resulting in 2 dead and in return the army shelled the houses they were hiding in with 5 wounded captured and some other unknown number of casualties + 1 woman died.

First they went talk to the Gadhweyn militia and told them that they are not allowed to enter the city with weapons and they also told them to give their weapons to the somaliland army. The Gadhweyn militia agreed with the somaliland army and they said they are ready to give their weapons to the somaliland army if the dhulos are going to do the same. After that the somaliland army tried to talk to the dhulos but their militias started shooting somaliland army. Somaliland army started defending itself and they chased the nabadiid dhulos and killed and captured lots of them.
