There's no susbtantial amount in Somalia/land even worth drilling for
Its just propaganda spread by Somalis to boost their own regions/clans reputation and this is just picked up by foreign news services/media after getting the info from oil companies and local governments and local journalists
Many government reports such as the CIA have confirmed this and the CIA even went as far as saying there is zero oil in somalia/land
A lot of these oil company reports that the companies release are sketchy. There was a case in somaliland in the 90's where an oil company came and left within the same week after they realized nothing was there.
All somalis do is speculate which makes these penny stock companies rise in value but these sketchy companies will not exist once its revealed its all a lie. Even if there is oil,there is no substantial drilling going on.
