beautiful poem..horta why we never hear of gabays from the 1.july markii clanka talyaaniga la badelay?..if I know somali people well I'm sure there were poems recited at the celebration just like this one.

Cabdilaahi Suldaan Timacade ilaahay janadii fardawsa ha geeyo. He is the greatest poet the somali speaking people have ever seen.

I heard that the south was not as happy to be free as the north
I also heard this as in they did not celberate as hard as the people in the north. But I have never verified this so yeah.
