Thank you for your input sxb, its all very interesting.A lot of people have been talking about this conference lately.
Some were opposed but most weren't which is why Sl is going.
Personally I think it's in our interest to be in this conference, We've pursued
a policy of isolation for 20 years and nothing came from it. It's dawning on a lot of
people that if we want to achieve our goals .....another way must be thought of,
i.e. being more involved with the going ons of the South.
Mida kale sxb ....ujeedada conferencekani waa ay iska cadahay. I believe it'll be about security
and some other things of interest to the West.

sounds interesting but at what condition will this be given to Sland..And don't mind the TFG they're just pathetic they don't even control mugadisho, marka waa iska hadal iyo booto every maamul is independant from the TFG who are guarded by a fufu soldier even during their toilet visitcabdisamad
i heard puntlanders are not happy with the Somaliland's participation of the conference, warkaa maxaa ka jira? I have seen the puntlander TFG prime minister cabdiwali gas try to play reverse psychology games with Somaliland by claiming to have invited somailand to the conference and to be reassured that Somaliland is inseparable and integral part Somalia under his TFG blah blah. wuxuu is la lahaa shacabku ha ku kacaan xukuumada oo ha yidhaahdaan shirkaa yaan laga qayb galin waa kaa raysal wasaarihii TFG waxaa ku hadlaye, but fortunately his little mediocre tricks didn't work this time. Ever since Somaliland decided to participate the London conference I could sense the sadness and the disbelieve about the decision by some anti_somaliland websites, waa kuwii mar walba odhan jiray midnimada somaliyeed waa muqadas

By the way no one is going to force somaliland to anything, somaliland is not a signatory member of the road map and for that reason it will be treated as seperate from the TFG and other regional states. On the other hand, i believe there are a lot of benefits for Somaliland. This least that Somaliland will walk away from that conference is huge pledges of aid, financial, economic and military assistance etc.

I see. So how will you react as Somalilander if the world powers demand Sland to drop the secession and be incorporated in a Somali federal state, and how do you think the majority of reer Sland would react to this. I mean this could be the outcome of the conference for Somaliland.![]()

They can not agree on something they haven't consulted with the public, it is an imposible scenario. IF they are convinced that accepting federalism is good for Somaliland, they will first come back, explain things to the public, request a referendum abroval from the two houses of the parliament and then take the referendum to the public. That is how things work in Somaliland

Before Samatar gives an answer ...bal answer this question.I see.
