Look, in all honesty the concept of 'somaliland' initially was a good idea. At the time we people of Awdal thought if the rest of the malis down south can't get there shit together we might aswell do something here. No one wants to be stateless all there life you see me. BUT after a while things started to get fishy in the 'somaliland dream'. We seeing a lot of odayal being bribed to keep quiet about killings that were happening. Even in Borama my home town when the people protested about the killings and put the somali flag up what did the 'somaliland' administration do. they send troops there lol. There is a growing feeling that somaliland is not good for us and im sure the dulbahante and warsangeli they feel the same too thats why all this beef is kicking off now and not say 5 years ago. so we joined due to our interest and now since things are working out in mogadishu we believe that its in our interest to be with 'somalia'. nothing personal its just business.

No not only that there also there are some daarood elements see the video you posted saado cali is in there
There are also some Gadabursi Ethiopians involved who hardly inhabit Somaliland.

But the Majority of the intellectuals of reer Awdal elders Their Ngo are all in support of the Somaliland govt , even the hard core unionist Professor Ahmed ismail samatar rejected Clan states such as Awdal state and anything close to that
All Gadabursi are Reer Awdal. The expansion into Ethiopia was recent in the last 300-400 years.
Plus those borders are 19th century. Nobody respects them.

Is Isaaq reer gaashamo bot considered a Somalilander?

I mean its difficult to generalise. as you know in the political world the one who barks the loudest is seen as the one whos opinion everyone follows. there r many isaaq people who r infavour of somalia and some gadabursi people who support somaliland. but my point is as i said in my previous post that there is a growing element among non isaaq members of somaliland i.e. gadabursi warsengali and dulbahante that somaliland is not serving their interest anymore. this is also aided by the growing stability in mogadishu.

in awdal yes many people are in favour of somalia we can say even many people. the proof being that whenever a rift happens between somaliland and people of awdal they demonstrate with somalia flag. so in reality the concept of somaliland is a means to an end. if its in ur interest why not?
