At every opportunity they would hope, yearn and call for the fall of Somaliland, even though that would in itself be a major catastrophe for them, for Somaliland's peace has given them peace. When there were elections/minor skirmishes/political disagreements/private sector issues, heck whenever anyone in Somaliland farts, xaasidnimo iyo qabyaalad aawadeed these haters come out with "this is it Somaliland is over, it will implode"
When their hopes of any internal-Somaliland issues destabilising Somaliland became no more than mere wishes, they actively began to plot and act to destabilise Somaliland. After 21 years, they are still trying and still failing
My last point. Somaliland may dislike it, it may be peace-loving and peace oriented, but it does know war, for it has been there and done that. Somaliland will not hesitate to defend itself against agression and attempts to de-stabilise it - those who try will pay a heavy price.
The spiteful and misguided handful in waqooyi who want Somaliland to become as chaotic and unstable as parts of south-somalia are in a minority (one small part of a xaafad in hargeisa alone could end them). Because of their folly sense of reality and inability to move beyond the early 90's issues, those of whom I speak i.e. nabadiid dagaaljecel elements of SSC/Khaatumo, not including Puntland, they fail to realise that the existence, stability of Somaliland is in their interest. If they try to stoke a fire in Somaliland, foremost they will burn and they will burn bad.
Let this be a warning. perhaps we shall invite you to the 25 years 1/4 of a century
