somali politics is too volatile to have a clear stand on such a subject. I Generally thing reer idoor are a peace loving bunch , so are we , we have a few differences, but unlike the south there isnt such a nasty history between the two of us. Although I dont support melez dictating what somali should and should not do, if reer idoor ever wanted to have an alliance I think from a economic, political, point of view it would be stupid for Pl to refuse. The thing is SL will never extend a hand to PL and PL will not do the same, somali have too much pride to seek each other out and work together, they see it as a weakness. Personally I think it a good idea , what the like lyhood that it will actually happen?....Lets just say there is a better chance of SL getting recognition than the two joining.

I believe it’s in somaliland interest to have a good relations and even alliance with punt land weather state to state or clan to clan
