Spending 4,5 milion dollars reconstructing Berbera airport while your second capital doesn't even have a properly working airport. SMH, somali bilaaa caqli.

How many times are they gonna fix Berbera airport? With 4 Million you could build a Brick/Cement/Tar factory and build several miles of road and pavement in Hargeisa.

Stupid idea . They should have spent that money on Hargeisa Airport, instead of dividing fifty fifty between the two airports. I mean why would you ever want to have two half decent airports when you can get one international airport?. Firstly I'm a natural rebel so waa dabaacadeyda. Secondly, this is pure incompetence and lack of perspective. Berbera airport is fine for now and when inshallah we start getting petro-dollars then we can build proper airports - and not the oversized sheds we currently have. Lakiin waxa muhiim ah primary infrastructure like Roads and Rail-roads. The excuse is we don't have enough money - that's a lie. It's not the money that is needed, but work ethic and ambition that's missing from us.

I seem like a contrarian because while you see progress, I see mismanagement and laziness. How long has this current admin been in power? I could do everything they've done so far in under a month.

4 million? Its not as much as it sounds,but building more roads in the major cities would be better.They might want to generate more airport revenue and see roads as only an aesthetic addition and nothing else

Not really. If you can link cities and towns together by road, it will help businesses with transport and logistics and also attract investment in under-developed tuulos. It will also help with the transport of export goods to Berbera port.

They donated 10 mill to Somaliland wich went to Hargeisa and Berbera Airports alone, even if they build a nice 4.5 mill Airport in Berbera and the rest in Hargeisa, im sure the reer Galbeed population will be getting off in Hargeisa, and the Reer Bari Maiinly IN berbera, but im sure its gonna be a waste As soon as they build one in Burco wich all the Reer Bari will be using instead of travelling true the sheikh Mountains...

These days Half the Reer Hargeisa/Galbeed waxay ka soo degaan Berbera.
Berbera has way more connections than Hargeisa Airport.

Look at these non-HA's getting angry, Berbera is the historical capital and the port of Somaliland, it has every right and importance for it to be renovated just the last year around 20 roads have been paved in Berbera, Berbera is a city more important then burco.
