Isn't Haber Yonis a sub clan of Garxajis. If so why is a sub sub sub clan being compared to sub clans like haber awal and jaclo.

Isaaqs structure is weird.

Habar Yunisis (Saciid Ismaacil isxaaq) is the son of Garxajis (Ismail Isxaaq),Cidagalle (Dawuud Ismaacil Isxaaq) is Saciid's Brother , both of them together are known as Garxaajis because that was the nickname ( i think) of their father Ismail Isxaaq? Alone their known as Habar Yunis, and Cidaagalle.

Habar Yunis is the largest isaaq subclan it seems, they border the Ogaden near central Ogaden and now border Warsangeli in Eastern Sanaag, They could possibly be the 2nd or 1st Largest Subclan in the Somali peninsula, since they reside in Burco, Hargeisa, Ceerigaabo, Saalaxleey, Oodweyne, Gaashamo and much more towns that have reasonable populations. :!:

Image

^ That census taken in the early 20th century shows that Habar Yuunis was the largest of it being 130,000 , today that number most definantly doubled , triplled or even quadrupled in the last 100 years. Burco's population is 500,000, 250,000 is Habar Yuunis, in Hargeisa the population is atleast 900,000 - 1.3 million, and Habar Yuunis having its own original neighberhood makes their population atleast 300,000 or more, Oodweyne is 70,000- 110,000, Ceerigaabo is 70,000-115,000, Gaashamo is 60,000-90,000. So a rough estimate of their population is 785,000-800,000, Thats Habar Yuunis on its own, adding Cidaagalle will make it atleast 1,000,000.

Habar Awal reside in Hargeisa and their estimate population is 400,000-550,000, they reside and are the majority in Berbera which's population is 200,000 them being around 150,00-170,000, they reside in the fast growing city of Gabiley which's population is 90,000-110,000, they reside in Sheikh which's population is 10,000-40,000, they reside in Carabsiyo which's populatioon is 30,000-50,000. So rougly the Habar Awal population is 690,000-740,000.

Adding Habar Yuunis and Ciidagalle from the estimate before will make it 1,740,000.

Adding Habar Jeclo to it will make it 2,500,000, adding Carab and Ayuub will make it 2,800,000-3,000,000.

The estimates could be reasonable since the Somaliland Population is 3.5-4 Million, so if 3 Million is Isxaaq, the other 500,000-1,000,000. is Dhulbahante , Warsangeli, Gadabursi, Cisse, Fiqishini , Midgan.

Marexan is same size if not more than Besha iidoor.

Iidoor migrate left and right from Hawd into the triangle and back.
You can remember that they fought over qamandi in haud after large reinforcements from SL came to receive the aid close to 200 were killed and when the border was closed by Ethiopian soilders the war ended.

All I know is, the Isaaq have never lost an inch of land. They have been gaining land for the past 200 years. Whether they are small compare to a Ogadeen or Harti, the facts speak for themselves.

Give respect to where it's due, people.
