Marathons, football, poem competitions(ciyaaraha iyo suugaanta) etc were organised by DDG, ODAWO,GBO in Oodweyne to promote more intermixing between the regions 4 districts namely Haji Saalax , Raydab, Haro Sheikh and Oodweyne(the capital seat). IMO this is the right step to prosperity.A person from the other 3 districts needs to be assured his regional capital is Oodweyne rather than Burco or Hargeysa and this is where the likes of Khadar Ambassador(a wealthy native of the region) come into the picture. When one from this region feels his capital is indeed Oodweyne and not Hargeysa or Burco is when various investments will come rapidly and the tens of thousands of citizens who have previously abandoned this region for the major cities shall one day come back to contribute to their native Daad Madheedh.
