Somaliland history:Old Waqderia fort

Postby Siciid85 » Tue May 29, 2012 5:54 pm

Some of the remains of the old fort in Waqderia estimated to have been built in 1799-1800 during Sultan Diriye Sugule's reign .Approximately located in 70 km east of Maydh, in terms of demographics it is settled by the Maxamed Muuse (Urursuge) Musa Ismaaciil sub clan.IMO it should be part of the UNESCO world heritage sites to preserve the history of this region.

The English have preserved and put stonehenge (a couple of ancient stones standing somewhere) as part of UNESCO. Somalilanders also need to preserve their history  . If you get the joke.
