Some people will go through any means and extreme lows to tarnish Somaliland

I've heard this one anti-Somaliland individual who swore to Allah that he would "never ever allow two DIR countries to exist", referring to both Somaliland and Djibouti. "How can there be two DIR countries and Somalia for the rest?".

Mind boggling and a head shaking moment
djibouti is not a dir state its an afar state, last I checked afar were not dir.
Last I checked, Djibouti is run and practically fully controlled by Issa

Am I lying when I say that?
yeah pretty much the financial power of djibouti is not issa but afar, politicaly thei only have the presidential office and a few parliamentary postision, and they dont run anything, I remember a while back the issa were almost genocided in djibouti, but the afar feared retaliation from somalis, so instead they resolved the issue peacefully.

Mody,

Um, the Afars in Djibouti get treated like crap. There was an Afar uprising during the 90s and in order for them to cool down,te Isse controlled government gave them 1 or 2 extra minister positions

Djibouti is a Somali country full stop. There's no debating this

The Sacad Muse and Gadabursi are more represented in the Djibouti government then Afars. The Afars only have the vice presidency for symbolic purposes.

And the businesses in Djibouti and the financial sector there is dominated by both Issa and especially Sacad Muse.

Waar I've been to Djibouti stayed their for a whole month, the Afar live in ghettos Djibouti city
They have one city called Tadjura or something like that which is like cowboy tuulo

The merchants class are mainly Yemenis Issa Gadabursi and Isaaq. The Afar do have representation in the government but it's mainly nominal

You people never cease to amaze me, meaning the anti-Somalilanders.

All you ever do is hope and pray that Somaliland falls. If you guys were genuinely sincere about a brotherly re-union and reconcilliation you would at least want to keep Somaliland relatively at peace. The saying; Let a brother live comes to mind.

This reminds me of a funny story one of my boys in London he is originally from Mogadishu etc. He told me how whenever anything happens to Somaliland in the Somali news channels his moms calls all the family together to laugh at Somalilands expense.

Yeh thats an extreme example, but union will never ever ever happen as long as there are people like in this thread who are so eager to see Somaliland fail.

Oh and by the way Haber Yonis are not calling their own state, they are part and parcel of Somaliland and are woven into Somaliland. But hey whatever helps you sleep at night

Are you saying it's not possible for a Somali man to accumulate a Billion Dollars just because he's Somali.Plus this man has business interest not just in Djibouti but also the Gulf and France too

Tell the truth though if had said he was Afar you wouldn't have replied to my post
