British Somalilanders Celebrate Mo Farah’s Olympic Triumphs

Postby Notorious13 » Tue Aug 14, 2012 4:12 pm

Press Release

West London Somaliland Community

Like the rest of the nation, the West London Somaliland Community and the British Somalilanders at large are delighted to celebrate Mo Farah’s record breaking achievements and Team GB’s London 2012 Olympic Games performance.

Mo and Team GB have indeed “done us all proud”.

We join the Prime Minister and the President of the Republic of Somaliland in their congratulatory messages to Mo Farah.

“Mo was already a hero for Young British Somalilanders, but his Olympic feat will always be in their minds. As an Association that works with young people, our challenge now is to reinforce Mo’s message that with application, discipline and “hard graft”, anything is possible to achieve”, said Id Hassan Muse, Coordinator of West London Somaliland Community.

We extend the best wishes of all the Somaliland community to Mo Farah and his family. We hope that everything goes well with the imminent birth of his twin babies in the next few days and look forward to their welcome addition to the London Somaliland community.
