Lets have little fun competition of designing new flags. Let our imaginations run wild and try to come up with a flag(s) that are both simple in design and also symbolically relevant to our land.

Okay I made this flag,

all credit goes to me if y'all wanna use it and stuff. So don't forget -it was DonCorleone capiche?

Okay the green for Djibouti, the black for somaliland, the blue for somalia.
Or alternatively, Green for the land, Blue for the Ocean, Black for the oil

The star is the 5 regions united (duh!)
,and the red color of the star is to never forget
the blood shed from / and all the somalis that died in all the wars we had, and the famines, and the refugees, and the droughts, and the ones killed, and orphans etc.

and how we will never forget them or their contribution to somalia and that we are ONE PEOPLE.

It's not a joke there were 2 divisions in the SNM, and they were both called Makka and Medina.

Incorrect, it existed before SNM even decided to re-declare Somaliland, the current flag , was created somewhere in the 80's, this white flag was the flag of one of snm's 2 divisions. You can't tell me i'm wrong on this one, my father and grandfather were SNM.

you are wrong, it was a somaliland flag when it was declared in 1991 as for this current flag no it was designed in the mid 90s and then chosen in 1993.
