Ofcourse they shouldn't claim to represent anyone they don't, but they sure do represent some people who have the same opinion as them..shouldn't they also not be heard or what? Even in the SL government you have people who represent their clan even though majority of them don't support them?

ManD333q let them claim they represent individuals then but not the clans of Somaliland which have decided their fate in 1991 Burco, Somaliland independence.

sahan- it doesn't necessarily have to be me but I'm just saying that people don't have to have same opinions or ideology just because they are from same region or clan. Me personally I'm neutral in this case I neither support secession or re-union just what' is good for our people in the long run. either way The land would always be there and the people would always be somali.

translation : he is my sub/sub clan therefore I can call him anything I want .

WRONG !
First of all I think he is not bound by tribe like the rest of us .That's a tactical awareness mistake in an environment like ours
Secondly I think he made an error by joining the TFG in the name of a people he doesn't represent . An error because assuming Somaliland ends up being part of a Federal Somali Republic , he would have had NO bearing on it .

Moral of the story : count on us for always managing to be on the right side of history
