In my opinion, these talks are waste of time and resources.the FROS should not compromise on the unity of the country and must insist on it.The only way to get rid of the secessionist menace is through power and war.let us settle this issue through the barrel of the gun and that is basically what it will come down to.
the siilanyo regime has no regal jurisdiction in any part of somali republic, these guys will eventually be dealt like the Timil tiger rebels who were fighting for secession.
Macaa Voltage baa madaxii xogayThey can't even share the empty city of Kismaayo with their own tribal cousinshow are you going to be a country with people who dont want to be in the same room as you
If the entire Isaaq population in the world share one city (Hargeisa) why is it so difficult to imagine some sections of two-subclans within the Darod cannot lead the land to peace and neighborliness?
The unfolding of SL? You and what army?
the enfolding of Somaliland conspiracy before my eyes. Somaliland will not become a separate state if Somalia has any say, what don't you guys understand? Do you guys not understand moqifka waxay tahay how we are going to be one country.

Xplaya had a point, smart politics would of dictated Somaliland activisim in the tfg make up. If Somaliland had lobbied for fair reprsentation, and more proactive in the IC project, they could of had a strong voice within it's makeup pushing for it's cause. Xplaya knows that talks were inevitable, and asking for a strong isaaq voice within the 4.5 system, does not equate to giving up your goal of independence. Xplaya is critical of somaliland's bad politics.Xplaya, I feel confused after reading post. You cry that Somaliland should have been more engaged in Somalia's politics and yet at the same time tie that to Somaliland hardline move towards independence and total separation? I think you are torn and don't know where to go; stay in Somalia but "fight" or totally remove yourself from the situation (which was pretty much Somaliland position before the talks which started this year.)
Somaliland was not engaged with Somalia at all before this year; why would Siilaanyo care what Mahiga and the TFG agreed in their process?
