WADDANI donates More than 100 Herds of Livestock

With the second leg of the campaigning coming to an end WADDANI has proved it has a support in every corner of the country.

In Hargeisa, top officials of WADDANI who were by accompanied by more than 25 aspirants representing the party in the upcoming local elections and many party supporters who converged today in Hotel Maroodi Jeeh in the outskirts of Hargeisa.

Speaking to the press the spokesperson for WADDANI Mr. Ibrahim Mahdi Buuba said that in adhering to the new announced set of code of conduct rules by the electoral commission which bans the usage of public place for campaign electioneering venues “we have decided to take the opportunity to distribute more than 100 herds of livestock to various institutions of the less fortunate persons in Hargeisa”.

Among the institutions which benefited from the charity were Hargeisa Group of Hospitals, Hargeisa Mental Hospital, Hargeisa General Hospital and Hargeisa Orphanage.

Sheik Mohamed Ali Geedi said WADDANI aims to contribute to the well-being of all and that once elected it will work towards elevating the living conditions of the less fortunate persons in the society.

Also addressing supporters was Councilor Hassan Haydh, a sitting councilor and who is currently running on a WADDANI ticket said he expected supporters to turn out in large numbers during elections day during his campaign tour which covered Hawaadle, Sh. Omar and Ayaha district of the capital.

On the other hand the chairman of the party Hon Abdurrahman Mohamed Abdullahi Ciiro and a large delegation of WADDANI official Toured Gebilay ,Tog Wajaale,Dila and Borame in which they were welcomed by anxious supporters.
