I`ve always said multi party elections cannot work in a tribal society.
Every tribe will form its own party, and people will naturally vote for their tribe.

The only viable system is one of representative democracy without direct elections .
Every clan will be allocated a number of MPs etc and they will have to form coalitions to govern.
That system is more transparent and immune to voter theft.

Perhaps in a generation or two the people will be sufficiently educated and integrated to overcome clan bias in the electoral system.
