That place is baking hot I swear,I don't know how the locals handle that kind of heat day in day out
As soon as you open the door of your air conditioned car it's like opening an oven door

CaliBurco Well one can't deny Berbera has seen better days under Kulmiye reign than when UDUB was there. A big credit also goes to its own local council.
Thuganomics That is nothing compared to Djibouti weather, strong hot winds will hit you in the face when you land from the plane to the airport in Djibouti

Somalistan Several roads were paved by the local council, more hotels built, the port got new better equipments and is busier than in 2009. At least it is not a
ghost town no longer and people are starting to move back to invest in it. But yes it is not a milestone transformation.

Yeah I am aware that some roads have gotten paved and airport got small terminal but I think it js not drastic. I still see wrecked ships floating around, trash around the shores and high tariffs still being applied in comparison to bosaaso.

The wrecked ships need to be taken somewhere else or dismantled.Actually Berbera is a lot cleaner than Bosaso, you haven't seen Bosaso shores there is even
chemical wastes buried in their shores but I do agree more measures need to be taken to clean up the area around the port in Berbera.

The port isn't being used to it's full capacity and the high taxes is what is driving away customers, berbera locals are lazy bums they need to step it up.

Saciid is that the new Burwaqo hotel? Berbera should be the commercial capital of the country.
